The big ball of fire which was the sun in the sky began to lower down on the city of Rome. The peaceful day with it’s warm air and beautiful clear skies was starting to change color as another beautiful sunset cover the area as evening was upon us. The streets was busy and crowded with people and among them was a stranger that wore nothing but red and black. Her blood red orbs looked up to the sunset as she came to a halt in the middle of the streets. Her blood red hair tied in it ponytail was waving in the air as her sleeveless black shirt was covered by her blood red trench coat. Her belt tight enough to hold her jeans up as her three inch nails hung outward as her arms was at her sides. The sheath of her favorite weapon of all time rested firmly on her back as she looked up to the sunset.
Her pale skin becoming more noticeable as the sun light was on her as it set. But it was not the beautiful scene of the sun setting that caught the Lady in Red attention. The appeal of its beauty has drop in the mind of the Lady in Red over the many years she has been allowed to stay alive due to the beast within her. It was the figure floating in the air that caught her attention. A five that must’ve been two inches over six feet in size. Long white hair that went down to the figure’s waist. Dressed fully in white armor with a white helmet to boot. The creature’s sapphire blue eyes glared daggers toward the city of Rome and the only thing keeping it in the air was the long white coming out of his back. He looked physical enough to be a warrior. A sheath rested on his waist as his right hand wrapped around the sheath of the blade.
It was none other than an angel. A warrior of heaven under orders to attack. He sheathed his blade and flew down at the speed of light. Speed that none of the humans had any hope to keep track of with their naked eyes nor dodge at the time. However the Lady in Red could track every movement of the angel as she burst forward. The angel was heading for a child. How, unlike an angel. Something serious must be going on if an angel was attacking a random child. However the Lady in Red could not and would not know this all she knew was that he was aiming to take the kid head off. And although she wouldn’t admit it herself, her soft spot for children got the better of her as she sheathed the large black and red long sword to block the blessed blade from the angel up above saving the child’s skin for now. “Run!” The child wasted no time running back to his mommy as the angel cold glare went over to the Lady in Red as he swung his blade towards her and she began to para the angel’s attacks. Knowing the pain she would feel from that holy blessed blade if it began to slice her.
Unfortunately even she, a woman with such great speeds wasn’t able to block each swing as the blade slice down her main body and caused blood to spill as she was weaken just long enough for the angel to grab her by the throat and push forward taking off a foot above the ground as they flew pass the fleeing people as he crashed her into a building. Dragging her up it before getting to a high enough height and dropping the girl. Suspecting the sudden stop at the bottom to do damage but Lady in Red spun around in mid-fall and landed on her feet. The angel flew down at her quickly and she side step just in time for the angel to crash into the ground in the mist of its own momentum as she swung and chop off the wings of the angel before chopping off its head. The people kept fleeing the city as the Lady in Red sheathed her blade walking down the street calmly meeting up with the boy and his mother as they were in disbelief at how easily she fought that holy creature. Though it was only one... And obviously weak as the blood dripping down her chest was still there, the wounds not healing yet.
“Who— What— What!?” was all the mother could say. Still in obvious shock at what just happened as the Lady in Red, face completely ripped of all emotion looked down to the boy. “You all right?” she asked coolly. The boy just nodded before asking, “What’s your name?” “Ranko... You two should get out of here...... When one come, more follow.” The mother and her son just looked at one another and then the woman before running off. Ranko looked back to the sky just in time to see the ball of fire decent fully from the sky as the moon began to rise up to the sky announcing that night is coming. Only one question was in the mind of Ranko as she looked up to the half full moon. “Why?”

Out on the darkening streets was one Mitsukai Kaichou. In her hand she held three plastic bags full of groceries and other things for around the house. She hadn't meant to be out this late, but she had lost track of time in the store and ended up being in there for over two hours. Normally, it wouldn't bother her, but tonight she had a headache and wanted to get homr anyways before it got dark out. Never know what is lurking in the streets.
She was half way home when the bottom of one of her bags broke. Blowing her blonde hair out of her face aggitatedly, she bent down and began to stuff the other bags of the food that had fallen to the ground. "Good thing I didn't buy breakables today" she murmered to herself before she began to hum a tune whilst picking up the last of the fallen merchandise. And so she headed back home, so she could make dinner for her mother and two younger siblings.

Ranko went out of her sea of thoughts to notice how many seconds were going by. She walked back through the nearly empty streets as she went back to the corpse of headless angel but by the time she got there their was no trace of the angel’s body. No proof of even its mere existence laid on the ground as if it was like an angel never died here to begin. The blood, the scent of a death that happened here, all of it gone. Vanished without a trace. But that was the way of the angel then? Did their bodies turned to ash too? Or mist? Or whatever. If only she stayed long enough to find out but she was too concern with that kid to care what happened to an angel body after death.
She looked back up to the sky, just expecting the heavens to be raining with an army of angels blowing in their trumpets, exploding in a war cry as they would overflow the earth and began to slay things likes they been known to do. Evil unholy things. Like her. It wasn’t by mere chance that an angel would just attack a random human being. Unless that human being was tainted in their minds. Like her. She was indeed tainted as one could say. Tainted by the evil devil spirit Nara. Tainted somewhat by the devil spirit with rested inside her blade. But yet she felt no presences of a tainted spirit inside the boy the angel attacked. Unless that angel was a fallen. A fallen angel that parted from the word of God. But even the fallen wouldn’t just randomly appear in front of man and attack at random. Something bigger was going on.
“You think too much my baby,” spoke the devil spirit Kasul inside the debts of her mind, “Angels... What an annoyance they are. Preaching their gospel, believing that their way is the one true way simply because they follow and fear the every word of their God. I wonder what happened to loving all? I will admit, seeing an holy warrior of God attacking what once was said to be “innocence” somewhat amusing.”
The Kasul sense of amusement was something the Lady in Red would never understand. What was so funny about a child being targeted when they done nothing wrong? Even if it was an angel, or a devil, or another human, it shouldn’t matter... Ranko let out a sigh and replied with no answer. Spoken or thought. It wasn’t needed. The blade could simply read her mind and know anyway. No freedom was in the mind when you shared it with such creatures, something Ranko knew, accepted and understood for years now. Ranko again began walking keeping her guard up. Out of the corner of her eyes she saw another girl, a teenager, walking out alone in the streets. Her first gut instinct of course was to ignore it and keep walking. The girl wasn’t of any importance or concern to her. But perhaps it was the mere fact her disagreement with whatever reasoning those angels was having of late with that latest attack. Even though there wasn’t enough to go on to know if that angel was acting on their own accord, foolish or no. Or if the angel was following the orders of a higher power than even it. Either way she pity the human race enough to give a friendly warning. How long could a human last against the will of heaven? “I wouldn’t be out and about if I were you,” she called out to the girl, no emotion in her voice.

Just as she picked the last of her things up, she heard a voice and looked up. "Oh...ah...yea. I was just...going home. I was shopping and my...bag just broke" she said blabbering, not meaning to, but she couldn't help herself. She wasn't exactly used to talking to strangers. She stood up straight and walked over to Ranko. "Thanks for the warning" she said bowing slightly to her. "Well, I guess I will be going...take care" she said, though for some strange reason, she wanted to talk to the girl more. Normally, someone with red eyes would scare the bajeebers out of her, and normally she wouldn't be talking to strangers.
"Um...which way are you going?" she asked, pushing her blonde hair out of her face again. It always seemed to be getting in her eyes and annoying her. "And if I shouldn't be out here, then why are you?" she asked curiously, tilting her head to the side awaiting an answer. If the girl didn't want to talk to her then she would continue her way home, but if she did want to talk, who was she to pass up an opertunity to maybe make a friend? Not that she had many of them.

Regret and reconsideration filled the Lady in Red mind but already it was too late to take back her actions. All she did was feel enough pity to give a verbal warning and the girl took it as an invention to start up a conversation. It was interesting considering the fact her pale white skin, hollow tone, emotionless appearance, and blood red eyes was enough to drive anyone who may wish to approach the woman away. And yet not only was this “human” talking to a stranger, a stranger who had a large sword, in a sheath, on her back. If her outer appearance wasn’t enough to scare someone away the concealed weapon was.
For someone who said she was going she sure did ask a lot of questions. She delivered no answers to the girl and her questions as she continued to stand there, not even giving much as eye contract to the girl. Seen as rude yes, but Ranko wasn’t nice. This random conversation wasn’t her style and never will be. She said her piece, she gave her warning, it was up to her what she did to it. Hopefully for her own sake she wouldn’t run into an angel, try to start a conversation with it and get impaled through the chest by its holy blade that they all seemed to carry. She moved a single step, planning to walk away and leave the girl alone but her something caught the attention of her enhanced senses.
She focused less on her eye sight and more on her hearing, the sound of the wind could be heard increasing, the sound of wings flapping went into her ears as it sounded like something was fast approaching from behind the two. Her right arm shot up over her shoulder and she grasp the hilt of her blade quickly sheathing it before spinning around on the opposite side of where the women stood so she the length of the blade wouldn’t cut by mistake for standing so close to her as another angel dress in white scoop down for the two and Ranko blade hit her back through the air with the angel’s own momentum bouncing back against it sending it crashing through the air before it regained control on it own and it headed for Ranko again. “Run!” she said to the girl. She spun around again in time to see two more angels now flying at her as she jumped out of the angels way and they bashed into one another.

It was apparent to her that the red head wasn't going to answer her back. The sword on the girls back didn't freak her since she thought it was fake, and she thought the red eyes could have been contacts. She shrugged her shoulders and was about to step away when she heard an odd noise behind her. She turned slowly to see what looked like something dressed in white, heading right towards her. She didn't even have time to scream before Ranko attacked the thing with the sword that had just been on her back. Mitsukais eyes widened at the realization that not only was the sword real, but the thing had come to attack either herself or the other girl. Which one, she didn't know.
She didn't have to be told twice to run, though, curiousity got the better of her and she only ran around the near by corner to peak her head out to watch what was going on. If that...thing, had indeed been after her, then she should know why, and what it was. After all, it wasn't safe not knowing what was after you. She watched the battle fearfully, and eventually realized that the things looked like...could it be...Angels?

Some times she just hated being right. The angels started chasing her as she took off in a run to a nearby building only further away there the girl was watching the battle. She lunged up into the air and walked up the building which would’ve been seen as a gasp moment for any witnessing human, but up to this point Ranko didn’t really care. She needed to pull out all the stops at this moment as it wasn’t every day three angels wanted you dead. The angels flew up near the building before Ranko jumped off the building wall at the last seconds and while she fell down right behind the angels she swung her arms quickly. She only had one shot at this as the explosion of slashes from the Kasul blade slice through the angel’s wings and now they was falling above Ranko as she landed on her feet and then jumped upward swinging her arms, being unseen to the naked eyes as another explosion set off to slice through the angels to dispose of them as she landed back on the ground.
That was too easy... Way too easy. But before she could even turn around another angel rammed into her back and crashed her right through the building to the inside of it as she landed on the ground face first. She lifted herself up by the hands and got up, turned around with her Kasul still gripped tightly around the hilt with her right hand as the female angel with long very bright blonde hair, green eyes and of course dressed in white pointed her sword at Ranko. Ranko wouldn’t make the first move this time as she just stood there with her Kasul held out forward. The angel finally rushed forward and both women swung their swords with their blades screaming between one another as their swords didn’t touch one another. Ranko dodge, ducked, moved to the sides and para the angel’s blade away before getting kicked back and the angel charging at her increasing it speed, which would’ve been a bad thing for anyone else but Ranko mastering speed was also able to keep a better track of it as she managed to still para away the angel’s sword before the angel faded and then reappeared behind Ranko slicing down her back! The blessing having it effect as she spun around and hit a kick to the angel’s jaw knocking her back before thrusting the Kasul through her chest and draining a bit of her powers before pulling it out and dropkicking her chest knocking her back through the air before Ranko got back to her own feet.
Five angels flew down from the sky on the outside of the building just waiting as they looked around the area in case anyone else was in sight as Ranko walked forward to take advantage of the fallen angel still on the ground but she got up quickly and their blades continued to clash against each other once more as the two only looked like a red and white beams of lights shooting pass one another in the mist of how truly quickly they were fighting in the building. The angels coming down from heaven was only turning out to be stronger than the lasts.
