I was wondering if angels were once humans, and demons were as well.
Also, do you have to be bitten to be a vampire or a werewolf, or can you be born one? Can vampires go into the sunlight, etc.

Very good question, glad that you asked; it is true that some details are notoriously imprecise regarding that. To answer your first question; AngelsWe are going with a more traditional approach to Angels-they are and remain only creations of "Him", "God" or whatever you want to call him. They are beings of light without a soul, forged by the forces of heaven in the shape of warriors. Former Guardians of humanity, now on a quest to destroy the ones they protected for the past Aeons. Characteristic of Angels - They have extremely potent physical and magical abilities, and have no known weakness, making them the most powerful adversaries on the site. An NPC Angel may very well take on a full PC character. There is a hierarchy amongst Angels as well. It should be known that Lucifer, the most powerful of every devil, was a former Angel. *** DemonsSpawns of Lucifer, it goes without saying that they are the inhabitants of the inhospitable realm of Hell. Demons had an impact on many cultures, and have always been portrayed as tortured beings representing evil, some in a form of beauty, others as terrors. Every Demon is very unique on his own; they have a very strong sense of individuality, and their powers vary from one to another. Alas, there is a large array of Demons, each specialized in one domain or the other. They are the most versatile species. Through dark rites, humans can become possessed by a devil by abandonning their soul (it should be noted that demons do not posess souls, like their maker Lucifer) and gain unnatural abilities unnatainable for a human. The process is long, but eventualy the possessed will undergo physical transformation, and become a devil. *** WerewolvesIt is possible to be born a werewolf; usualy those that are develop a better understanding of their unnatural instincts, and become better hunters, although this is all subject to generality. Everything else about werewolves is preaty much the same: They are vulnerable to silver, transform under exposure of the moonlight (although this can be controlled after a while), have amazing regenrative capabilities, strength and agility. *** VampiresIt is impossible to be born dead, unfortunetly. Lowly vampires are vulnerable to sunlight to the point that exposure may be fatal, although the more they grow in power, the more vampires will be able to avoid the effects of the sun. The source of their power is the night, though, which means that in the day, vampires are just as vulnerable as any mortals. *** UndeadFormer humans who have transcended death by their own means. Some, because they cannot find peace in death, and still have a purpose left unfufilled in life, others because they have been forced to stay against their will, enslaved by unnatural forces. The undead present an array of beings that range from ghouls to Lich. They are decaying corpses, just as much as they are powerful sorcerers bound to unlife. They are fitted with unique abilities that sets them apart from the other races. *** HumansInhabitants of earth. Hopefully everyone knows what humans are, so no backstory is nessessary here. The greatest weapon of man is his intelligence; over his existence, he has developped skills and weapons to fight his adversaries and discover the use of magic. Most who does, use their talent to protect their kin from harm, if not, then to protect themselves from the comming war. *** ImmortalsNo one knows about those extremely rare individuals. They are believed to be former humans who have attained their Immortality through magical means. Their goals are based on individual, they fight for no side except their own as far as anyone can tell, which makes them the most unpredictable and dangerous of adversaries.
