Twisted Fate
Now that Naruto's back from training with Jiraiya, he needs to focus all of his time and energy on getting Sasuke back and diminishing the Akatsuki. With the help of Sakura and the support of many others, that is exactly what he intends to do. However, upon his return, Konoha recieves some startling news. It seems as if Orochimaru has been killed. At first no one believed it, but the quietness that followed only confirmed the rumor. This set unease upon the village, since only Tsunade and Jiraiya, each a legendary sannin, could kill Orochimaru. Niether admitted in doing so, though they are slightly suspicious of one another. However, it sends great relief upon Naruto and Sakura, for they now know that Sasuke's body is safe, and will not be occupied by their enemy. A picture was later sent to Konoha of Orochimaru's body, and nobody was left in doubt.
Now Otogakure does not have a leader, and Kabuto has taken over, appointing Sasuke as second-in-command. While Kabuto is trying to find out whom was his masters murderer, the Akatsuki have become restless, and are about to make themselves known, and continue in their quest for the Biiju.
